Volunteers from our entire community are needed. Whether your interests lie in organizing volunteers to aid in the installation, helping with project publicity or fundraising, or any of a myriad of other tasks, your community needs you.

Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2005 with completion of the playground and grand opening to coincide with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s 75th Anniversary celebration in August 2005. See the Timeline below.

Community Build is June 23-26, 2005

Volunteers are needed for the large scale community-build which will be under the direction of the Miracle vendor Engan, Tooley-Doyle and Associates.

Overall, we will need 50-60 volunteers to pull this 2-3 day event off, rain or shine!

Volunteers skilled and unskilled are needed for some of the following areas:

• Pre-construction assembly & sorting
• Site set-up
• Check-in-registration
• Equipment/tool coordinator
• Construction - Crew leaders should have some mechanical inclination
• Food & Beverage
• First Aid
• Media contact
• Childcare
• Clean-up
